You are cordially invited to participate in CLIHC/LA-Web 2009, the Joint Conference emcompassing, in 2009,
the 4th. Latin American Perspective on Human-computer Interaction (CLIHC) and the 7th Latin American Web Congress,
which will be held Novembre 9-11, 2009, in Mérida, Yucatán.
LA-Web,
a regional conference endorsed by the International World Wide Web Conference Committee (IW3C2),
is the Latin American forum where Web-oriented research is discussed.
Supported by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), CLIHC has served as a venue
for the inter-change of ideas, methods, approaches and techniques of those aiming at designing
interactive experiences for the people of Latin America. The aim of the CLIHC is to capture the people, culture, geography, history and perspectives
within the context of those researchers and practitioners from and in Latin American working in the area of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
The Joint CLIHC/LA-Web 2009 Conference will have activities from both events.
The conference includes full and short paper presentations, which are, together with a workshop of thesis and dissertations,
the most research-oriented portion of the event.
The event also includes an student competition and doctoral consortioum ,
where both academic and industrial participants can present their latest results,
either as full products or as early prototypes.
